Convenient for the Excel

Really convenient location for the Excel, so easy to get to from King’s Cross Station too (one tube stop, then change on to Elizabeth line to Custom House). Check in super quick and efficient, and service was great too! The room was a little hot but I think it’s only because it was an unusually hot day when I went. Audrie in the restaurant was lovely and so friendly too.

Clean and functional

Stayed 2 nights for business. Everyone was being upgraded to an executive room. No bigger than previous years but liked the coffee machine dressing gown and slippers. Breakfast ok no scrambled or poached egg but usual selection of fruit and pastries.

Hotel and room was fantastic and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Klea and Olga really were superb and went the extra mile with their service. The whole experience was made nice and easy by the staff. Easy parking and I was delivering Fire Safety Training and the room was perfect. 🧯🔥

The noise really spoiled it for me

I had been really quite impressed by this hotel - especially for the space it offered for a London hotel. The room itself was good - there was a 3/4 bath as well as shower and even separate loo. There's an ironing board and iron in the room and hairdryer plus a sink that you could bath a toddler in! The small fridge is a bonus too. What totally spoilt it for me was the odd and very loud noises I assume were issuing from whatever the building services were located adjacent to the room. A mix of regular thuds, bangs, clangs, clanks and then something like someone using a pressure washer on a metal garage door. This seemed to only stop from between 2.00am and 5.30am. I found it impossible to sleep through. This wasn't 'noisy neighbours' or plane noise as some on here have reported but something happening as part of the 'workings of the hotel'. Perhaps they were tumble drying rocks in the room next to me?? I was going to talk to staff on my exit but I had someone to meet and there was a queue at reception, so I didn't get the chance. I was booked into room 201 for two nights and perhaps if I had been in any other room in the hotel it may be tolerable, so I would very much avoid that room and perhaps ask for a quiet location in the hotel. It's super handy for Excel where I was working at a trade fair. The transport links into London are now good too. Breakfast had a lot of choice but needs more staff and someone to clean and service the coffee machine. Views across the docks and to O2 are exceptional.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the hotel between April 18-21. After a busy week in central London, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is excellent, the rooms are excellent, the service was very kind. Excellent breakfast, amazing balcony overlooking the river. Highly recommend.
